Portuguese Teacher's Son Smacked on the face

The entire community of S. João were astonishingly shocked after having heard what happened to a local Portuguese Teacher's Son. Apparently he was violently attacked by a dreadful individual after refusing to hand over 20$00 (approximately €0,10). He was slapped seven times. Being unable to communicate the event to the local authorities due to fear of retaliation, the young man's mother proclaimed revenge.
